One way you can make a difference is
to join our team as a Reserve Police
Officer. If you are looking for a reserve
commission, please take a few minutes
and fill out the reserve application
form found below. Reserve Officers are
required to put in a minimum of 8 hours
a month but are allowed to exceed those
hours if they wish. At the Logan Police
Department Reserve Officers are treated
with respect and dignity. Full time
officers understand the dedication a
reserve officer gives. We understand
they donate their time for almost no
pay and we respect that.
Minimum Requirements
O.P.O.T.A. Certificate
21 Years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
No felony convictions
Step 1 will notify us that you are
interested in a position. Fill out the
notification form and then you will
be sent to a page where you can download
the written application.
After you fill out the form and application
we will call and set up an interview.
By filling out these forms you are
agreeing to a complete background investigation
by this department for employment purposes.
If you are not OPOTA certified but will
be in the near future you may fill out
the apllication for reserve officer
but you will not receive a commission
until the OPOTA certification has been
obtained.
